I am not aware of any tools that currently support definition-based extraction. I know that LHC forms support Observation-based. (See https://confluence.hl7.org/display/FHIRI/SDC+Implementations). How about you @Paul?

thanks joee. we wouldn't mind being the first ;) are there any examples we can look at just to get us started? the examples for item controls (http://build.fhir.org/ig/HL7/sdc/examples.html#itemControl) are super useful. but i'm struggling to find examples to get us started with extraction.
