Topic: Disabling browser autocompletion?
Paul Lynch (Jan 15 2019 at 22:33):
HTML provides a mechanism for disabling browser form field autocompletion/autopopulation (i.e., filling in "city" with a value used in a previously form). Is there a mechanism in FHIR for signaling that the browser should not do this? (We just saw Chrome fill in a city value for an "ethnicity" field.)

I suppose we could define an extension - we can always define an extension... :) Submit a change request

I think its based on the value in the id field somehow in the browsers. and agree that the opt out of the functionality makes sense - and could be at both form and/or field levels (as noted In the link Paul provided).
