@Lloyd McKenzie, @Paul Lynch Does this about look right as the core changes between the 2 versions?

I did a quick check and didn't see anything else.

Changes to extensions but I can't think of anything else in core. @Joee Garcia ?

On the types both "choice" and "open-choice" are being replaced by "coding" (not just open-choice).

Does coding include non-coded answers? E.g. 'others (not-specified)'

The data type only talks about the display (associated with a code). I'm looking at something like CodeableConcept

Nevermind, didn't read the information carefully (sorry).

.answerConstraint should do it

on the current spec, what does this mean about the answer type for open-choice?
Answer is a Coding drawn from a list of possible answers (as with the choice type) or a free-text entry in a string (valueCoding or valueString).
I fail to see how that sentence should be split.
Does that mean that valueCoding could apply to a free-text entry?

view this post on Zulip Lloyd McKenzie (Aug 24 2021 at 17:51):

valueCoding applies to the first part, valueString applies to the second part.
