Topic: Appointment.priority
Grahame Grieve (May 07 2019 at 14:15):
The base pattern for Request.priority has codes routine | urgent | asap | stat. The Appointment resource maps Appointment.priority to Request.priority which is an unsignedInt. How does PA think that mapping works?
Brian Postlethwaite (May 08 2019 at 14:40):
Good question.
Brian Postlethwaite (May 08 2019 at 14:41):
Is there a tracker for this already? (nope)
Grahame Grieve (May 08 2019 at 14:43):
I’ll make one

In R5 ballot #3, priority has changed from an unsignedInt to an example binding for ActPriority. Does the committee have ang guidance for conversions between versions?
Brian Postlethwaite (Apr 30 2021 at 07:27):
I thought I included some v rough notes in there, and noted that could leverage an extension, however the concepts between systems don't really mesh well anyway.
Brian Postlethwaite (Apr 30 2021 at 07:27):
So yes, a lossy conversion.
Brian Postlethwaite (Apr 30 2021 at 07:29):
And no, didn't define a standard extension for the integer value.
Brian Postlethwaite (Apr 30 2021 at 07:30):
I probably should have updated that implementer note too.
