Hi all,
We have created valuesets using cpt code system but while publishing using R4 publisher we are getting this error
valueset-error.PNG
Could anyone suggest in resolving this issue??
Thanks in advance.

there is no resolution to the issue - CPT is not supported for licensing reasons

Okay Thank you @Grahame Grieve

How about if you get this same error when trying to resolve a CodeSystem that is included in the IG? any tips on that?
(its currently a private IG)

Worked it out, the codesystem was marked as fragment, when it was actually complete.

So the CPT licencing thing - is this an error we can publish an IG with? "The value provided (http://www.ama-assn.org/go/cpt::44970) is not in the options value set in the questionnaire" (I mean an error we are allowed to ignore?)

I am using http://hl7.org/fhir/ValueSet/cpt-all as the value set.

yes

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (Sep 04 2019 at 23:05):

but it's not clear to me that you can publish an IG that includes that code at all

view this post on Zulip Sarah Gaunt (Sep 04 2019 at 23:08):

Hmmmm, it's the HAI IG and the only allowable code is a CPT code... (It's required). So the example really has to have it. Not sure how to get around including a CPT code.

need to check that with Wayne. I believe that at the moment we do not have a license that allows us to publish that

view this post on Zulip Sarah Gaunt (Sep 04 2019 at 23:12):

Interesting. We also have it in the corresponding CDA IG. I guess we could put "fake-CPT-code" in (it would throw same error).

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (Sep 04 2019 at 23:13):

it would be much better to put a real CPT code in there.

view this post on Zulip Sarah Gaunt (Sep 04 2019 at 23:13):

I thought I saw somewhere that you could do it you just had to include a specific copyright

view this post on Zulip Sarah Gaunt (Sep 04 2019 at 23:13):

It def would be better to put a real code in!

It's here: https://www.hl7.org/fhir/cpt.html
Says: When Value Sets include CPT codes, the copyright element should include the text "CPT copyright 2014 American Medical Association. All rights reserved.".
