Build-Status.docx

This was working on Thursday morning with version 1.1.8 of the Publisher --

view this post on Zulip Lloyd McKenzie (Aug 08 2020 at 21:42):

I don't think it's a publisher issue, it's a template change. But I don't understand why Trifolia is failing. Does it run outside Trifolia @Robert Dieterle ?

view this post on Zulip Robert Dieterle (Aug 08 2020 at 21:44):

have not tried -- was concerned that I would break the only "clean" build

view this post on Zulip Robert Dieterle (Aug 08 2020 at 21:45):

The code in GitHub has not been updated since Thursday morning -- I guess I could force a build if that would help

view this post on Zulip Robert Dieterle (Aug 08 2020 at 21:46):

problem is that I do the build in Trifolia with nearly every change and only push to GitHub when all changes are ready

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (Aug 08 2020 at 21:46):

@Lloyd McKenzie I'm not sure what you're looking for when you say 'run outside trifolia'?

view this post on Zulip Lloyd McKenzie (Aug 08 2020 at 22:01):

If you push stuff to Git and it doesn't build, that won't remove the CI publication from your last successful publication. (@Grahame Grieve I mean try it locally on your machine or try it in Git)

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (Aug 08 2020 at 22:02):

I know that you meant that, but a standard trifolia user won't know how to do that, and I'm not sure what you think it will achieve.

view this post on Zulip Lloyd McKenzie (Aug 08 2020 at 22:04):

I'm just wondering if it's a Trifolia issue or something with the IG.

view this post on Zulip Lloyd McKenzie (Aug 08 2020 at 22:04):

Pushing it to Git is probably best because then I can debug

view this post on Zulip Robert Dieterle (Aug 08 2020 at 22:04):

I do not have a setup on my machine . If I change GitHub before Lynn pull the ballot version wont that be a problem if it does not build? We are at the very edge of my understanding of the process.

view this post on Zulip Robert Dieterle (Aug 08 2020 at 22:05):

Again -- I have not made any change in the IG since Thursday morning when it was building just fine in Trifilia and on the CI.

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (Aug 08 2020 at 22:05):

@Sean McIlvenna trifolia should have a clearly documented process for this. Neither Lloyd or I know how to advise a trifolia user to debug like this

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (Aug 08 2020 at 22:06):

and the problem for Lloyd and I is that you haven't identified the IG

view this post on Zulip Robert Dieterle (Aug 08 2020 at 22:08):

sorry PostAcuteOrderExcahnge
CI build Package hl7.fhir.us.dme-orders#0.2.2

view this post on Zulip Robert Dieterle (Aug 08 2020 at 22:09):

One day I will learn to spell PostAcuteOrdersExchange in Trifolia , dme-orders in GitHub

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (Aug 08 2020 at 22:11):

@Lloyd McKenzie you can reproduce it with what is in ci-build

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (Aug 08 2020 at 22:11):

irrespective of what the problem is, it should not stop the build

view this post on Zulip Robert Dieterle (Aug 08 2020 at 22:12):

I have submitted a "ticket to Lantana regarding the issue. Perhaps they can help. As to documentation about a problem like this ....

view this post on Zulip Robert Dieterle (Aug 08 2020 at 22:18):

I can export the IG from trifolia and update GitHub. I assume if it fails, I can just update with the version from Thursday (saved the files on my machine). I this what you recommend?
