Should my canonical and current version URLs in package-list.json be http or https? The JIRA-Spec-Artifacts build warns if I use https instead of http. But if I use http, I get messages in the "publication rules" section of qa.html telling me I should use https.

canonical URLs need to be the same all around. (IHE has chosen https always) Im not sure what hl7 decision is.

Thanks John. I will use https for my canonical URL and ignore the JIRA-Spec-Artifacts warning, unless someone advises me otherwise.

Actually, it's an error from the JIRA-Spec-Artifact build, not a warning, so I cannot ignore it. Surely I am doing something wrong; otherwise everyone would have this problem.
