First time IG publisher here! Sorry if this is a naive question, but I didn't find an answer when I went looking earlier.
So, my question is about how history.html is supposed to be generated for new specs.
I have finally gotten my IG qa.html to be silent, but I'm still unclear how my history.html is supposed to be populated and published. Is this something that will happen automatically the first time the IG is published on hl7.org? Or do I need to craft a page in advance? Either way, I'm surprised that the publisher doesn't mention the broken history link in qa.html.

history.html actually spans IG releases and should be generated by the final publication process driven by the package-list.json file in your root folder

you don't need that file and shouldn't have it. Any warning you get about that is that you haven't been explicit in your configuration about what it's going to be
