Topic: fhir package registry
Oliver Egger (Feb 12 2021 at 15:17):
we published our implementation guide ch.fhir.core#1.2.0 and referenced it via our package-feed, simplifer.net picks it up here but in the fhir registry it does not shot the new 1.2.0 version. do we need to something additional or is the update cycle slower?
Grahame Grieve (Feb 24 2021 at 03:30):
@Ward Weistra ?
Ward Weistra (Feb 25 2021 at 09:41):
@Oliver Egger Sorry, I missed your question here. It's listed when I check now: https://registry.fhir.org/results?query=%22ch.fhir.ig.ch-core%22.
The script to update the registry.fhir.org Elastic database now runs at least twice a day, so your updates should automatically be reflected.

Firely Bot (Feb 25 2021 at 09:42):
:warning: Jira returned an error for issue HSCR-1. Use @Firely-Bot issue show ?
for more information.
Ward Weistra (Feb 25 2021 at 09:43):
Apparently that board is not public, but: still https://jira.hl7.org/browse/HSCR-1
Oliver Egger (Feb 25 2021 at 11:00):
hi @Ward Weistra thanks for the followup and glad to know the update times for future publications.
Oliver Egger (May 05 2021 at 06:56):
@Ward Weistra we have updated on April 24th ch.fhir.ig.ch-core package to version 2.0.0 and announced it in our feed. The package does not show up on registry.fhir.org but does show it on simplifier.net. Is there another process necessary for registry.fhir.org ?
Ward Weistra (May 05 2021 at 15:29):
@Oliver Egger :half_frown: I'll look into it
Ward Weistra (Jun 09 2021 at 12:48):
@Oliver Egger It's there now: https://registry.fhir.org/package/ch.fhir.ig.ch-core%7C2.0.0
Reliable automation of it being filled a few times per day is almost there.
Oliver Egger (Jun 09 2021 at 13:56):
thanks a lot @Ward Weistra :+1:
Ward Weistra (Jun 24 2021 at 13:49):
Hi @Oliver Egger, multiple of your packages still have dependencies on dev
and current
versions of packages, which are labels that can only be used locally:
- https://simplifier.net/packages/ch.fhir.ig.cda-fhir-maps/0.2.0/files/376812
- https://simplifier.net/packages/ch.fhir.ig.template/0.6.0/files/375419
Perhaps you can release new versions of them with versioned dependencies. For a little flexibility you are allowed to use an x for the patch version number: https://confluence.hl7.org/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=35718629#NPMPackageSpecification-Versionreferences
Oliver Egger (Jun 24 2021 at 14:16):
@Ward Weistra thanks for the notice, I hoped we catched all dev / current dependencies, ch.fhir.ig.cda-fhir-maps depends on hl7.fhir.cda, but till now hl7.fhir.cda has (at least to my knowledge) never been publisehd, that's why we refer to dev, @Grahame Grieve do you know if publication of the cda model is on the agenda?
Oliver Egger (Jun 24 2021 at 14:17):
for ch.fhir.ig.template which is the base template for the UI of our swiss ig we are always are working with the lastest hl7 base template, but for sure we can fix them to a specific version and do that with the next publication
Grahame Grieve (Jun 24 2021 at 16:29):
@Sean McIlvenna for CDA question. It's getting to be time...
Oliver Egger (Jun 24 2021 at 18:47):
thanks, and i will revist also your comment to the PR in the meantime ...
Sean McIlvenna (Jun 25 2021 at 16:45):
@Grahame Grieve , time to...??? publish cda-core-2.0? I think we need to allow CDAMG (including @Lisa Nelson) time to vet the state of the logical model before we publish it officially. We worked on some guidance/steps for how they will go about confirming that the cda logical model is correct, but I don't think they've had time to actually do the QA work.
Grahame Grieve (Jun 25 2021 at 20:53):
that's why I said 'it's getting to be time', not, 'it is time'. I think it's time to have a roadmap. But also, given @Oliver Egger's considerations, it would be appropriate to publish a draft, to help implementers review, rather than to publish a final
Oliver Egger (Jun 28 2021 at 06:15):
a published draft version for review would be very helpful
