Topic: best-practice for documenting MustSupport
John Moehrke (Feb 15 2021 at 21:18):
I am interested in any common-practice or any best-practice on how an IG would document that IGs definition of mustSupport. I understand the definition is IG specific, but wondering if there is a common way that an IG would publish their meaning of mustSupport. I am just wondering what is common.
Lloyd McKenzie (Feb 15 2021 at 23:08):
Da Vinci has a shared page (in HRex) we define that stuff in that we then reference from other guides
John Moehrke (Feb 16 2021 at 13:12):
I suspect a shared page will also be used... what I am wondering is if there is a convention for how the text of MustSupport is to be found? Is there a defined (or convention) for the page name?
David Pyke (Feb 16 2021 at 14:01):
US Core has a very detailed Must Support definition. It's a good model if you need to steal sections
Lloyd McKenzie (Feb 16 2021 at 14:59):
No convention as yet
John Moehrke (Feb 16 2021 at 18:29):
Dave, the definition is not what I am looking for. I have a good IHE definition. What I am looking for is a convention for where in the IG this definition goes.
Richard Townley-O'Neill (Feb 17 2021 at 00:56):
We put it on a conformance tab.
