I have no fancy tools so I am writing structure definitions by hand. Is there a FHIR tool I can use to validate them?

I have been using that but I cannot tell from it what the error is (I don't understand the message) or where it is located. Svalidate? Text server? I don't know what these are. I will do some googling.

$validate is a standard fhir operation. check out the list of operations in the spec.
