Stream: IG creation
Topic: Unable to connect to terminology server
Torben M. Hagensen (Oct 08 2020 at 09:29):
Hi all
It seems that the IG builder currently fails due to problems with the terminology server.
Does anyone else have the same problem.
The error reported is: Publishing Content Failed: Unable to connect to terminology server. Use parameter '-tx n/a' tun run without using terminology services to validate LOINC, SNOMED, ICD-X etc. Error = Error sending Http Request: Connect to tx.fhir.org:80 timed out (followed by a FHIRExeption ending the build)
I use FHIR Shorthand so I do not call it myself (I use the _genonce.bat script generated by sushi).
Grahame Grieve (Oct 08 2020 at 09:35):
the advice in that error is not applicable to the Publisher, so I'll see if I can remove it
Grahame Grieve (Oct 08 2020 at 09:35):
I have restarted tx.fhir.org

Forgot to thank you - hereby done ;-)
Andreas Schuler (Oct 12 2020 at 19:16):
Hi all, it seems that the server tx.fhir.org is down. When executing IG Publisher I get the info that it operates in offline mode but fails to finish it creation with an exception. A quick lookup on tx.fhir.org yielded that it is not responding.
It states a warning, however fails to execute:
WARNING: Running without terminology server - terminology content will likely not publish correctly (00:10.0434)
thankful for any help.
Grahame Grieve (Oct 12 2020 at 19:16):
it's re-starting now
Andreas Schuler (Oct 12 2020 at 19:17):
Thanks a lot ;)
Saul Kravitz (Oct 12 2020 at 19:26):
Does that also explain the lack of successful runs on https://fhir.github.io/auto-ig-builder/builds.html
Grahame Grieve (Oct 12 2020 at 19:26):
yes that's the cause
Grahame Grieve (Oct 12 2020 at 19:27):
i'm working hard on re-engineering the terminology server.
