Topic: Trial/New LOINC and SNOMED Codes
Sarah Gaunt (Mar 14 2019 at 04:49):
Getting an error on this LOINC code 90252-8 (The code "90252-8" is not valid in the system http://loinc.org; The code provided (http://loinc.org#90252-8) is not valid in the value set All codes known to the system). It's been around for a while (created for HAI) but still marked as Trial (https://s.details.loinc.org/LOINC/90252-8.html?sections=Comprehensive )
Sarah Gaunt (Mar 14 2019 at 04:51):
I also get an error on SNOMED code: unable to find code 765107002 in http://snomed.info/sct. Also definitely there in SNOMED: https://browser.ihtsdotools.org/?perspective=full&conceptId1=765107002&edition=us-edition&release=v20190301&server=https://prod-browser-exten.ihtsdotools.org/api/snomed/&langRefset=900000000000509007 - it was new a few months ago, but it's definitely in the latest release.
Sarah Gaunt (Mar 14 2019 at 04:52):
I think the SNOMED one is actually causing 3 errors in my IG:
QuestionnaireResponse/hai-questionnaireResponse-los-event: QuestionnaireResponse.item.answer error The value provided (http://snomed.info/sct::765107002) is not in the options value set in the questionnaire QuestionnaireResponse/hai-questionnaireResponse-los-event: QuestionnaireResponse.item error Item has answer, even though it is not enabled los-contributed-to-death QuestionnaireResponse/hai-questionnaireResponse-los-event: QuestionnaireResponse.item[3].answer.valueCoding error unable to find code 765107002 in http://snomed.info/sct
All because it's choking on that one code.
Sarah Gaunt (Mar 14 2019 at 05:00):
And this LOINC code: The code "89875-9" is not valid in the system http://loinc.org; The code provided (http://loinc.org#89875-9) is not valid in the value set All codes known to the system
Also definitely there (and not trial or new or anything): https://s.details.loinc.org/LOINC/89875-9.html?sections=Comprehensive
Grahame Grieve (Mar 14 2019 at 07:02):
which guide is this?
Jim Steel (Mar 14 2019 at 07:06):
89875-9 doesn't seem to be in the LOINC table in the latest LOINC release sources
Sarah Gaunt (Mar 14 2019 at 11:31):
HAI: http://build.fhir.org/ig/HL7/HAI/qa.html
Rob Hausam (Mar 14 2019 at 12:28):
It's definitely there in the latest LOINC 2.65 table.
Sarah Gaunt (Mar 14 2019 at 19:56):
So @Rob Hausam the code is there, it's just the FHIR terminology server that is not finding it?
I had the same issue back in Sept when I was trying to publish. That was with the snomed code above (which still isnt' working) and now these 2 LOINC codes. I guess I'll tell @Grahame Grieve and hope that this is a "tooling error" so I can go to ballot....
Grahame Grieve (Mar 14 2019 at 20:20):
I haven't upgraded the server to 2.65 yet.
Sarah Gaunt (Mar 14 2019 at 21:22):
Ok, well, I'll not worry about the code errors I guess...
Jim Steel (Mar 15 2019 at 03:25):
Hmm, looks like I haven't upgraded to 2.65 yet either. Will get to it in the next week.
Grahame Grieve (Mar 15 2019 at 04:42):
I just upgraded the server to 2.65 for LOINC
Sarah Gaunt (Mar 15 2019 at 05:11):
Yeah - I couldn't figure out why I was magically one error down!! Thanks!
Sarah Gaunt (Mar 15 2019 at 05:13):
I'm still getting an error on SNOMED 765107002 - any chance of an update there? https://browser.ihtsdotools.org/?perspective=full&conceptId1=765107002&edition=us-edition&release=v20190301&server=https://prod-browser-exten.ihtsdotools.org/api/snomed/&langRefset=900000000000509007
That's my second last error....
