@Chris Moesel this
https://build.fhir.org/ig/HL7/fhir-shorthand/sushi.html#new-ig-publisher-integration-autobuild-configuration
reads:
If you are using the autobuild configuration, you need to manually download the IG Publisher jar file and put it into the /input-cache directory:

I don't use that, i just run the _genOnce.

Is there a reason to have to download the jar and run it manually?

(btw, my jar is not in the /input-cache folder)

@Jose Costa Teixeira -- I think what it's trying to get at is that if you're running SUSHI from the IG Publisher jar, you need to have the IG Publisher jar first. Executing SUSHI from the CLI the "normal" way will first generate FHIR sources (including batch scripts) and then you can run the IG Publisher jar... but if you're not running SUSHI directly, then you need the jar first (since the jar will run SUSHI) and you won't necessarily have _genonce at that point. But... I can see what you mean; as written, it does seem it might be overly prescriptive.

I think you are right. These tools are fairly well integrated and one should not need to follow one way or the other.

I use them both and they live together -
sushi for some of the content; other content, ig config, etc I do outside sushi

my starting point is an empty IG, not sushi (others will have a different starting point)
