Topic: IGs on R4B snapshot?

view this post on Zulip Jean Duteau (Dec 17 2021 at 21:58):

Given the latest R4B snapshot that was released (4.3.0-snapshot1), is there any chance that the IG Publisher and SUSHI will target those for making IGs? @Grahame Grieve @Chris Moesel

it's on my todo list, but I'm seriously backed up... I've got to get R5 out yet

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (Dec 17 2021 at 21:59):

but you can try... list it as a dependency and see if it works

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (Dec 17 2021 at 21:59):

no I mean, name that as the versino

view this post on Zulip Chris Moesel (Dec 17 2021 at 22:05):

I gave it a spin. SUSHI is trying to resolve it as hl7.fhir.r4b.core#4.3.0-snapshot1, but failing. @Grahame Grieve -- is that the right package ID?

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (Dec 17 2021 at 22:09):

yes

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (Dec 17 2021 at 22:09):

maybe the package server hasn't picked it up yet - it'll be my back up one for this package

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (Dec 17 2021 at 22:10):

I'll investigate over the weekend

Right now, both https://packages.fhir.org/hl7.fhir.r4b.core/4.3.0-snapshot1 and https://packages2.fhir.org/packages/hl7.fhir.r4b.core/4.3.0-snapshot1 are HTTP 404.

OK. Thanks, @Grahame Grieve!

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (Dec 20 2021 at 11:23):

This will work next release - the version to use is 4.3.0-snapshot1. @Chris Moesel the package for this is on packages2.fhir.org/packages - will never be on packages.fhir.org.

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (Dec 20 2021 at 11:24):

note that http://packages2.fhir.org/packages/hl7.fhir.r4b.core/4.3.0 returns the same package as http://packages2.fhir.org/packages/hl7.fhir.r4b.core/4.3.0-snapshot1, and the so the validator will accept just 4.3.0 as the version for validating for R4B, but the IG publisher doesn't have the same flexibility - you must nominate the exact version (for now - I may review this in the future)

view this post on Zulip Chris Moesel (Dec 20 2021 at 13:46):

Thanks, @Grahame Grieve. I have confirmed that SUSHI can now download and use 4.3.0-snapshot1 -- so that's good!

When I run the IG Publisher, I'm seeing QA errors like this on my profile:

The Extension 'http://hl7.org/fhir/StructureDefinition/structuredefinition-fhir-type' definition allows for the types [uri] but found type url

The extension it is complaining about, however, comes directly from the Patient resource (I did not add it in my profile). Is this one of the things that is fixed in the next release?

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (Dec 20 2021 at 18:48):

no. it's a totally confusing message since it allows for the type url not uri. It's on my todo list for today
