@Grahame Grieve got a query from Lynn about the hai_ltcf IG. She has pushed it to hl7.org/fhir/us/hai-ltcf/2019Sep (ignore the giant logo). She says: "The registry at http://www.fhir.org/guides/registry has no description for the IG, and for whatever reason is not directing to the path with the suffix of 2019Sep (hl7.org/fhir/us/hai-ltcf/2019Sep)"

Is this something you need to update/fix?

description and path are in the package-list.json

view this post on Zulip Lynn Laakso (Jul 31 2019 at 20:58):

scratch that path is in package-list

view this post on Zulip Lynn Laakso (Jul 31 2019 at 21:03):

where is description for the registry?

view this post on Zulip Sarah Gaunt (Jul 31 2019 at 21:04):

No idea!

view this post on Zulip Lloyd McKenzie (Jul 31 2019 at 21:05):

Description for the registry should come from the IG proposal

view this post on Zulip Lynn Laakso (Jul 31 2019 at 21:11):

but where in the spec do you put it so it shows up?

view this post on Zulip Sarah Gaunt (Jul 31 2019 at 21:18):

Plus it's not IN the registry. The description is in the proposal.

view this post on Zulip Lynn Laakso (Jul 31 2019 at 21:18):

HAI-LTCF is now in the registry

view this post on Zulip Lynn Laakso (Jul 31 2019 at 21:19):

go to http://www.fhir.org/guides/registry/ and scroll to the very bottom. several igs are missing the description

view this post on Zulip Sarah Gaunt (Jul 31 2019 at 21:20):

Ok, I will get you the description.

view this post on Zulip Sarah Gaunt (Jul 31 2019 at 21:24):

I guess the short description? "Long term care facility (LTCF) healthcare-associated infection (HAI) reporting to CDC National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) to track infections and prevention process measures in a systematic way, which allows identification of problems and care improvement."

view this post on Zulip Sarah Gaunt (Jul 31 2019 at 21:25):

Sorry @Lynn Laakso was confused/didn't read your message properly! Thought it wasn't there at all!

view this post on Zulip Lynn Laakso (Jul 31 2019 at 21:29):

But I don't know where it goes....

view this post on Zulip Sarah Gaunt (Jul 31 2019 at 21:29):

Hmmmm... Neither do I. @Lloyd McKenzie ?

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (Jul 31 2019 at 21:56):

what is 'it'? the registry entry is built from the information in package-list.json. the registry doesn't reference ballots, only published iGS, I think

view this post on Zulip Sarah Gaunt (Jul 31 2019 at 22:09):

@Lynn Laakso is referring to description. There are a bunch of IGs that are missing it on the registry page (they are also missing Category):

view this post on Zulip Lloyd McKenzie (Aug 01 2019 at 02:07):

The registry is maintained in Git (https://github.com/FHIR/ig-registry). So I presume that Grahame/Lynn propagate the information from the proposal to the source in that project when they are working on migrating ballots.

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (Aug 01 2019 at 02:16):

there's code to do it, but it's only recent

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (Aug 01 2019 at 02:20):

ah the code says that those things have to be filled in by hand

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (Aug 01 2019 at 02:23):

technically, the description is supposed to come from the Short Description on the Implementation Guide proposal

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (Aug 01 2019 at 02:27):

fixed

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (Aug 01 2019 at 02:29):

though may take a little while to become visible

view this post on Zulip Sarah Gaunt (Aug 01 2019 at 02:42):

Awesome - thanks!
