Topic: Having the publisher output to different directory
Jean Duteau (Feb 23 2021 at 19:31):
In the old pre-template days, there was a control file where I could specify the name of the output directory. WIth templates, that appears to be gone? I need to have my output be in a different directory name and rather than rename the directory after the fact, I'd love the publisher just to put stuff there. Is that possible?
Jose Costa Teixeira (Feb 23 2021 at 19:34):
did you try adding the path-output parameter in your IG ?
Jose Costa Teixeira (Feb 23 2021 at 19:34):
i don't know if the template overrides it (i think it doesn't)

Jean Duteau (Feb 23 2021 at 19:39):
works perfectly. thanks again @Jose Costa Teixeira
Eric Haas (Feb 23 2021 at 20:00):
basically I use /docs for github pages and /output for the autobuild.
Lloyd McKenzie (Feb 23 2021 at 20:22):
Be aware that the CI build won't work if the output is anywhere other than 'output'.
Lloyd McKenzie (Feb 23 2021 at 20:23):
I.e. it won't host the site on build.fhir.org and could potentially blow up
Eric Haas (Feb 23 2021 at 21:08):
also note for github pages there may be a markdown file or two that sneek into the outputed folder that will cause github pages issues. - I am not sure if this issue has been fixed or not as it only shows up occasionally for me.
Lloyd McKenzie (Feb 23 2021 at 22:01):
If the markdown pages are put in the right folders, they shouldn't propagate...
