For a few sessions and dissemination actions I was thinking of compiling a "troubleshoot" guide. Something like
- When you see empty lines in your menus, this means that the links are not resolved
- When you QA says ..., you may use the "special-url" parameter
- When you have this other issue, check that the IG author has a url...

Where should this list be? I can make a short list, but i would prefer to have a growing, collaborative list that others can add to.

that is one option. a wiki page is more open to collaboration, I don't know what is the best/preferred

github wiki? or confluence? I would agree these are more easy to collaborate and better user experience.

My leaning is Confluence. Let's save ig-guidance for "best practices" and "how to read" - stuff that requires more review/approval/tight commits and use Confluence for "how to" hints
