CARIN BB would like to move forward with a technical correction with 3 tickets that are technical correction issues.
However, there is a requirement in the profiles of the IG that the meta.profile be present with the version number. (e.g. "http://hl7.org/fhir/us/carin-bb/StructureDefinition/C4BB-ExplanationOfBenefit-Inpatient-Institutional|1.1.0")
Since this is a requirement and the resource has to be changed in a way that likely requires code changes (even though none of the other elements were modified), this seems like a breaking change.
How can we proceed from here? Is a TC even possible?

Yet one more reason why mandating meta.profile is a bad idea :frown:
Short answer, with the current set of tooling, probably not. Your best bet is to do an STU update. (And might I suggest that the STU update eliminate mandating the declaration of meta.profile? :) )
