Topic: How useful is a registry without context

I was hoping the registry would allow for more than a SD so could add valuable context and usage notes. For example, many profiles are created in the context of an Implementation Guide and listing a profile or extension independently will deprive the reader of this information. Or is the idea that the SD.description or SD.text will be so thorough and complete as to make any additional information unnecessary?

the idea is that the resources will contain a link back to their implementation guide to provide this context - registry.fhir.org isn't the place to solve that problem. Simplifier might be for things done through simplifier

ok that makes sense.

Where in the SD would you put the reference to an IG?

IGs have reference to SDs, but where is the natural place to put a reverse reference?

there isn't a place
