Can anyone share some insights on what the next steps are to enable FHIR support within the audiology domain. Basically, I want to send diagnostic measurements of hearing loss.

Measurements are supported in FHIR by observations generally. Additional domain guidance is done through implementation guides and profiling existing resources.
