In case you missed the FHIR DevDays in Amsterdam this year: @Grahame Grieve 's 3rd annual keynote "The Future of FHIR" can be viewed here: https://vimeo.com/192231857 , which focuses on the strength of the FHIR community.
Grahame discusses the plans for certification of FHIR Consultants, what it means to be interoperable, and he mentions that this year (talking about votes in various countries) has not been a good one in terms of "community strengthening". He also urges us (as health IT literati) to ensure that our work benefits all - including those citizens/patients that are technologically challenged.
