Greetings:
This is an invitation for any member of HL7 International or its Affiliates to please submit a letter of interest to the Director of Education Sadhana Alangar (sadhana@hl7.org) on/before June 30, 2021, to help with the following education and training initiatives by seeking appointment to the HL7 Education Advisory Council (Jan 1, 2022 to Dec 31, 2022).
Topics in focus for the next two years include:
• Courses on implementation guide developed by HL7 FHIR Accelerator projects
• FHIR training in Lower/Middle Income Countries (LMICs)
• Expanding HL7 standards outreach in Africa
• Developing a credentialing program
• Partnering with Universities and Training Organizations
• Implementing a “Train the Trainer“ program
Currently, we meet every other Wednesday at a time that is suitable for all our members including those from the Asia Pacific region. A meeting time that is convenient for all our members will be selected next year, too. If you have experience working in HL7 education and outreach, and would like to make a difference in the world of HL7 education, please apply to us – we are a fun, friendly and passionate team.
