Suddenly the background color of the 'selected chat message' has switched to blue (with black letters). Not a combination that works too well (to put it mildly), but I don't see how one can actually change it. Can this be configured by a user ?

FWIW I don't see that on iPhone, nor Mac app, nor Chrome on Mac.

FWIW I'm using Fhirefox. :-)

I switched to 'night mode', where white text on a blue background is kind of ok. But I'd rather use 'day mode' ..

@René Spronk can you provide the screenshot, OS, and precise firefox version in a new issue at https://github.com/zulip/zulip/issues/new? I haven't heard of something similar and we'll want to reproduce and fix.
René Spronk (Dec 07 2020 at 08:13):
Done, https://github.com/zulip/zulip/issues/16847
René Spronk (Dec 17 2020 at 08:06):
Thanks for fixing the issue.
Tim Abbott (Jan 21 2021 at 23:28):
@René Spronk did the issue go away for you? I don't think we've done anything (though it may be there was a Firefox bug that was fixed by a Firefox update)
René Spronk (Jan 22 2021 at 07:46):
As was noted above, the issue has gone away.
Tim Abbott (Jan 24 2021 at 17:42):
OK, yeah, sounds most likely to be a transient browser bug (this sort of thing happens very rarely from time to time).
