@Tim Abbott, is there a way to configure the Jira notification message? Most of our issues are created with default priority and no assignee, so including those fields isn't helpful. On the other hand, including the standard that the issue is raised against would be helpful.

@Elliot Silver I am not aware of options on that form, but we'd be very open to a PR that added support for that sort of customization, perhaps with an interface of passing &fields=standard,.... https://zulip.com/api/incoming-webhooks-overview may be helpful, and of course feel free to post in #integrations in chat.zulip.org for more detailed feedback from the community.

Yes, passing the fields (or named field sets) in the URL was a change I had thought of. I'll continue over on chat.zulip.org.

Does HL7 have a private install of Zulip? Or are we somehow a separate community on a Zulp-hosted install? Are our Jira integration scripts something that we can adapt, or is there a central copy of the scripts that all communities use? I'm wondering if a) can we do something specific to our Jira setup (like reference non-standard field names, and if any change we come up with impacts the whole Zulip community, or if it only impacts us.

I think the ideal is for us to design the standard integration in a way that it can be customized in-band for our particular use cases.
