Topic: Can't authenticate Zulip desktop client

For the last few months, I have not been able to use Zulip on my MacOS desktop. It appears that others are experiencing the same auth issue (https://github.com/zulip/zulip/issues/13613). It looks like the solution involves both a server upgrade and client upgrade. I am wondering if this is a known problem for chat.fhir.org and if the server has been updated?

This server has that feature, but it's not available in any released version of the desktop app (the feature got held back in Zulip Desktop 5.0.0 due to problems with the AppImage format on Linux that would have prevented any authentication from working there). I expect we'll have it finished soon. In the meantime, you can always reset password and use non-Google login.

Thank you, Tim. I reset the password and am now able to use the client once again. Looking forward to the Google login fix.
