Topic: ITI-56 on FHIR
Brendan Keeler (May 12 2020 at 15:40):
From a review of several resources (including this page: https://wiki.ihe.net/index.php/ITI_Vocabulary_Registry_and_Data_Dictionary) it appears that many of the popular PDQ/XCPD/XDS/XCA transactions have new IHE profiles (labeled generally as mobile) that use FHIR instead.
One that seems to be missing is ITI-56 (PLQ). Is that correct? Is there a FHIR equivalent?
John Moehrke (May 12 2020 at 17:06):
IHE works on membership bringing new work items to the committees. The works you have seen do fall into the category of re-examining a historic use-case under the constraint of using technology consistent with FHIR. Thus they are the same use-cases with a 'mobile' constraint (yeah, I hate mobile, but it is the word we got). Not all FHIR based IHE profiles are designated with "m" for mobile, just those that are re-examining a historic use-case. PLQ has not been brought forward by anyone.

Note a better way to see the IHE profiles that profile FHIR is https://wiki.ihe.net/index.php/Category:FHIR
As that page covers all IHE domains, not just ITI
