Here is a video on the status of the joint - Gemini - projects on IPS and CCG - https://youtu.be/xjEzGM8kBPw
Jens Villadsen (Mar 18 2020 at 13:25):
https://www.ihe.net/uploadedFiles/Documents/PCC/IHE_PCC_Suppl_IPS_Rev1-0_PC_2020-03-17.pdf - TL;DR - does this text cover the use of IPS using FHIR as the 'native' choice - meaning that no CDA processing is needed @John Moehrke ?
John Moehrke (Mar 18 2020 at 13:27):
I think it has both CDA and FHIR Document encodings; and how one would indicate thus. The latest work is on FHIR Document encoding, where the CDA has been done before... I think
Jens Villadsen (Mar 18 2020 at 13:30):
you know if it differs from https://build.fhir.org/ig/HL7/fhir-ips/ ?
John Moehrke (Mar 18 2020 at 13:41):
I think that is the HL7 part of the Joint project. Where as the IHE side of the joint project is the linking to Document Sharing and setup for IHE Connectathon testing
John Moehrke (Mar 18 2020 at 13:41):
This is a joint project.
John Moehrke (Mar 18 2020 at 13:44):
I would recommend you engage in the public comment to provide concerns that this is not clear. I had tried hard to drive for a clear and bright line, but I was just one voice.
Jens Villadsen (Mar 18 2020 at 14:58):
FYI: The PDF jumps from page 55 to page 68. You know what happened to 13 pages?
Jens Villadsen (Mar 18 2020 at 14:59):
I think that is actually most of the FHIR profile on the contents of the bundle :rolling_on_the_floor_laughing:
John Moehrke (Mar 18 2020 at 15:19):
sure looks to me like it is all there... but also looks to me like they have duplicated the HL7 published FHIR IPS IG...
Jens Villadsen (Mar 18 2020 at 20:31):
its there now - strange ...
