Are there official versions of the CMS eCQMS written against the FHIR data model? When I look at the eCQI HealthIT.gov site the measures even for 2022 are still written against QDM. I have been using the Hackathon repository for my eCQM testing on FHIR, but I get occasional questions from business folks whether that is the best / "correct" place to get those knowledge artifacts.

Hi Corey!

There are not yet published eCQMs written against FHIR. The best place for the draft content are these two repos. These are being maintained by a team working with CMS:
https://github.com/cqframework/ecqm-content-r4
https://github.com/cqframework/ecqm-content-r4-2021

Please see the introduction here:
https://build.fhir.org/ig/cqframework/ecqm-content-r4/

The connectathon repo contains draft Measures for prior FHIR versions and reporting years.

Has CMS shared their plans for publishing eCQMs using FHIR CQL?

Not sure, and the MAT tool has been down for a while it seems

As far as I know CMS has not made any announcements as to when FHIR-based eCQMs will be published, or when FHIR-based eCQMs will be accepted for reporting.
