Grahame Grieve (May 02 2019 at 17:18):
hey @Harold Solbrig we should mention the CTSA meeting here - and can you describe the interest that the CTSA group has in this work? (thanks)
Harold Solbrig (May 02 2019 at 17:19):
I can touch on parts of it. Ken Gersling's proposals would be of interest...
Grahame Grieve (May 02 2019 at 17:25):
where would people find them?
Grahame Grieve (May 02 2019 at 17:26):
I'm sitting in a meeting with Harold listening to some passionate debate about what this thread is talking about, and suggesting that we put together a meeting across the CTSA community and the people in this thread (e.g. @Ryan Brush @nicola (RIO/SS) @Josh Mandel )
Josh Mandel (May 02 2019 at 17:27):
Would love to join :)
Grahame Grieve (May 02 2019 at 17:28):
btw, CTSA = translation medicine - big data --> change clinical practice.... (very gross summary)
Harold Solbrig (May 02 2019 at 17:30):
I'll talk to Ken about access to the architecture documents. Would be good to get a wider review on the approach in any case.
nicola (RIO/SS) (May 02 2019 at 18:00):
I didn't expect any complications, but ... i've applied second time, but it was to late. i'm with you - see you in Redmond!

Does this corner of the diagram indicate that the CQL server is sending only FHIR REST API calls to the FHIR server within each institution?

That's my interpretation, yes
