We highly recommend that you use the Connectathon Manager tool provided by David Hay, however - if you are more comfortable with the traditional tracking spreadsheet you may use the one located here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ZgcdZ-iNEMFaztuND5EHSxyQP8M4GUbmKmEN6XzQtNU/edit#gid=1088922430
Jenni Syed (Sep 17 2018 at 18:33):
Is there an updated link to the Connectathon Manager tool?
Michele Mottini (Sep 18 2018 at 13:07):
@Jenni Syed : David is setting it up - see the 'sign up sheet' thread
David Hay (Sep 19 2018 at 01:45):
So here's the link to conman (btw - stands for 'connectathon Manager' - it's been said I have a twisted sense of humour.) Right now there are no tracks entered - Track Leads: here's a link to the setup instructions: https://fhirblog.com/configuring-conman/ . These assume a technical connectathon - idea is that we'll use it for clinical as well...
It's fine to enter your name even before the tracks are set up - you can indicate preferences later.
I'll put stubs in for the tracks when I get a chance - but best for the track leads to do that (if you are using the tool)
Usual disclaimer: it's a work in progress - please report any bugs here and I'll do my best to sort out!
David Hay (Sep 19 2018 at 02:07):
OK - have added the stubs and a link to the details page for each track.
David Hay (Sep 19 2018 at 02:10):
To 'register' - simply navigate to the site. You'll get a login popup. Assuming this is the first time, then add yourself as a new user. No password required.
David Hay (Sep 19 2018 at 02:11):
After registering, your name will be in the 'people' tab - you can go in there and update your details including tracks of interest (you get a single primary track and any number of tracks of interest).
David Hay (Sep 19 2018 at 02:12):
If you have a server, then add it to the 'servers' tab. clients to the 'clients' tab.
David Hay (Sep 19 2018 at 02:12):
feedback welcome!
David Hay (Sep 19 2018 at 02:13):
Oh, and there's a high level of trust here ATM - nothing stopping you from editing other peoples details - but please don't... (unless they ask you to)
David Hay (Sep 19 2018 at 02:29):
Track leads: If you are going to use the tool to track results - then add the scenarios to your track,. Doesn't need to have a lot of detail - just whatever makes sense...
Michele Mottini (Sep 19 2018 at 13:21):
Thanks David
Michele Mottini (Sep 19 2018 at 13:25):
..it does not let me enter the FHIR version of our test server, and seems to be confused by the returned XML Conformance
Michele Mottini (Sep 19 2018 at 16:27):
@David Hay ^
David Hay (Sep 19 2018 at 18:48):
Hmm. It expects a JSON response (XML is more tricky in web apps) - is that feasible?
The FHIR version is coming from the capability statement - and it can't read the XML!
I can look at how to interpret XML if JSON is going to be a problem for you...
BTW - thanks for doing this now - it's great to be able to work on the issues ahead of time, rather than on the day!
Michele Mottini (Sep 19 2018 at 18:58):
JSON is supported, but you have to ask for it with either an accept header or a _format=json parameter - if nothing is specified you get XML
John Moehrke (Sep 19 2018 at 20:08):
I am not seeing the proper link for conman for Baltimore
Michele Mottini (Sep 19 2018 at 20:09):

Michele Mottini (Sep 19 2018 at 20:50):
The Client and Server tabs are visible only if you select a track - but do not appear to be track-specific
David Hay (Sep 20 2018 at 07:33):
That's right - clients & servers aren't track specific - though the tabs don't show until a track (type=technical) is selected. Always room for UI improvement :)
wrt the capability statement - let me check on that. I thought I included that header, but you never know...
David Hay (Sep 20 2018 at 07:58):
OK fixed - the header was incorrect.
David Hay (Sep 20 2018 at 07:59):
I note that you have a number of extensions @Michele Mottini - I'm not looking at them, though they show in the json view...
Michele Mottini (Sep 20 2018 at 11:27):
Thanks David, cool
