Topic: International Patient Summary (IPS) Track
Rob Hausam (Sep 29 2018 at 13:52):
Hi, everyone. If you are signed up and/or interested in working on the International Patient Summary this weekend please make sure that you are registered and indicate that in the ConMan tool. It would be good to indicate that by posting here, too, as we're rather distributed (and many of us are wearing multiple hats) and communicating here will help us keep track and follow our progress.
Grahame Grieve (Sep 29 2018 at 18:28):
@Rob Hausam has anyone looked at comparing IPS to Argonaut?
Rob Hausam (Sep 29 2018 at 18:42):
It's on our agenda for this week. We haven't done the detailed comparison yet, though. If you have suggestions for the best way to do that, that would be welcome. I'm behind on actually engaging with Argonaut folks, too (of course I do know a few of them that I can talk with).
Grahame Grieve (Sep 29 2018 at 18:42):
what version is IPS based on?
Rob Hausam (Sep 29 2018 at 18:47):
R4
Grahame Grieve (Sep 29 2018 at 19:09):
hmm. Tooling won't stretch that far...
Rob Hausam (Sep 29 2018 at 19:19):
so I presume you mean DSTU2 to R4?
Grahame Grieve (Sep 30 2018 at 14:35):
y
Rob Hausam (Sep 30 2018 at 15:48):
let's talk about where that leaves is and what we might be able to do (assuming there is something we can do)
Grahame Grieve (Sep 30 2018 at 16:38):
it leaves us doing it manually.
Grahame Grieve (Sep 30 2018 at 16:43):
maybe we can accelerate that
Peter Williams (Feb 02 2020 at 02:57):
If it's of interest, I've put the IPS onto our development server as a ValueSet. So you could look up the members of that and - for example - filter to just the ones that contain 'hernia' using: https://dev-fhir.snomedtools.org/fhir/ValueSet/ips/$expand?filter=hernia any questions you're welcome to see me at the Terminology Services table.
Peter Williams (Feb 02 2020 at 04:15):
I was asked how that was defined internally as a FHIR Resource. We used the SNOMED ECL expression for "memberOf" a reference set. See here: https://gist.github.com/pgwilliams/f9a51007e02870b4f5f2010ad4266f31 I've done this example using the GPS because that SNOMED Identifier has been published officially.
Rob Hausam (Feb 02 2020 at 22:54):
Just a reminder to everyone on this track to send me a brief note of what you have done and are doing for the track report. Thanks!
Rob Hausam (Sep 09 2020 at 16:02):
Connectathon 25 and the IPS track are about to begin a few hours from now! For our Connectathon-related communications this time we will be using the IPS stream (and not this topic).
Rob Hausam (Dec 14 2020 at 02:49):
We are planning to hold an IPS Track Orientation session for Connectathon 26 on Wednesday at 11:00 AM EST / 16:00 UTC / 17:00 CET. The details are here.
