On Friday, Sept 11th, 2020 10:00 AM-11:30 AM (https://whova.com/portal/webapp/hlfhi_202009/Agenda/1212530) the Birth and Fetal Death Reporting (BFDR) public health scenario will be having a discussion around:
- EHR data availability
- query vs push (getting data from the EHR to EBRS)
- What are your workflow hurdles?
- Are there specific data items that are not available from electronic medical record data?
- Example: Is prenatal not available to the hospital (EMR)? Do formats include PDF import, and not discrete data?
- Example: Mother baby linking. How much of the mother’s information is available?
- Things to consider during public comment
We would love to hear from and get feedback from both state reps and vendors, so if you're interested, please drop into that session on Friday!

The Birth Defect Reporting will also be part of this session as much of the content overlaps with birth and fetal death reporting
