Rien Wertheim (Oct 13 2016 at 18:52):
This is the FHIR Developer Days 2016 channel for the Community track.
Jens Stockhausen (Oct 25 2016 at 05:18):
Not strictly FHIR related: Preparing my slides I was wondering if the projector will allow for 16:9 slides?
Michel Rutten (Oct 25 2016 at 11:06):
Hi @Jens Stockhausen the projectors support a resolution of 1980x1080 pixels (16:9) with HDMI connectors and optional Mac minidisplay converter plugs. All speakers will also receive an e-mail with detailed information.
Jens Stockhausen (Oct 25 2016 at 11:44):
Hi @Michel Rutten! Thanks for the
heads up.
René Spronk (Nov 08 2016 at 14:38):
As the track lead for the Community track I hope to welcome you to the various presentations. The aim of the Comunity track is to allow FHIR implementers to share their implementation best practices. We have an interesting list of speakers, about FHIR based projects, FHIR implementation details, and FHIR tools that assist an implementer.
The agenda of the track can be found here: http://www.fhirdevdays.com/schedule/track-community/
All presentations will be video recorded and these recordings will be made available in due time.
Jens Stockhausen (Nov 09 2016 at 07:21):
Hi! Just got the Speakers Introduction. As I was expecting to talk about FHIR from our point of view I already prepared my slides based on our company template (16:9) . Do you really expect me to change it to the plain FHIR template (4:3) a few days before the conference?
Mirjam Baltus (Nov 09 2016 at 13:51):
The projectors are full HD, so you can use 16:9 slides. If you could just alter the theme to look like the plain template, you should be okay.
Daniel Mediavilla (Nov 14 2016 at 14:15):
@René Spronk Thanks for the info, will all presentations from the conference be recorded or only all the community track ones?
René Spronk (Nov 14 2016 at 15:38):
@Daniel Mediavilla All presentations will be recorded (sometimes one goes missing due to technical glitches), and will be made available in due time. Initially the recordings will only be available to the conference attendees, but with some delay (something like a month) they'll be made available to a wider audience as well. See https://vimeo.com/channels/hl7fhir for videos from the previous DevDays.
Simone Heckmann (Nov 15 2016 at 18:38):
Hi, I can't seem to be able to access the Dropbox link to upload the slides...
Simone Heckmann (Nov 15 2016 at 18:39):
Page loads, but it's just plain white, no content.
Simone Heckmann (Nov 15 2016 at 18:43):
Oh wait, it's just loading super slow. I think I managed :)
Pascal Pfiffner (Nov 15 2016 at 18:50):
I was not actually able to upload anything to that folder, just tells me "empty folder" and no action item. So uploaded them to my Public folder and emailed the links. 😏
Simone Heckmann (Nov 15 2016 at 18:51):
Yes, same here, but I've been able to add the folder to my dropbox and then place the files into the folder in my filesystem and it synced back
Simone Heckmann (Nov 15 2016 at 18:52):
not sure if that's how it's supposed to work or if I just hacked it :D
Pascal Pfiffner (Nov 15 2016 at 18:56):
Sounds more like you got it and I deserve a n00b ribbon...
David Hay (Nov 16 2016 at 05:30):
I'm bringing mine on a USB stick. Twentyfirst century sneakernet...
Simone Heckmann (Nov 16 2016 at 10:23):
Can someone provide a Link to the slide template, please? The one in the PDF isn't working for me
Lloyd McKenzie (Nov 16 2016 at 11:12):
Should be able to grab one of the presentations from the dropbox
Wouter van den Broek (Nov 16 2016 at 11:48):
Are the presentation slides going to be shared somewhere?
Lloyd McKenzie (Nov 16 2016 at 11:50):
Yes - I believe they're being released to all attendees. Someone from Furore can comment on the intended timeline
Wouter van den Broek (Nov 16 2016 at 12:06):
Was too early with my question; the shared it thru email. Slides are on Slideshare http://www.slideshare.net/DevDays
