My IGs are failing to find the DICOM codes (e.g. my examples of AuditEvents that use DICOM codes).

@Grahame Grieve Should those codes be available on tx.fhir.org now? I've added value sets for the DICOM Modality and AcquisitionModality codes for the IPS ImagingStudy profile, and right now 26 of those codes are missing (but quite a few of the others are on tx.fhir.org).

I though that the whole dicom CodeSystem was being pulled in from the DICOM publication of their codes in FHIR CodeSystem format.

That would make sense. But if that's the case, from what I'm seeing the content isn't currently up to date.

The codes I need for AuditEvent seem to be present. I will be working on some imaging FHIR core resources later. i will let you know if it is okay.

ok I've got to this now. As far as I know, the only way that dicom valuesets get into the FHIR eco-system is by virtue of being included in fhir.tx.support here: https://github.com/FHIR/packages/tree/master/packages/fhir.tx.support.r4/package

I think that would be right. There are a large number of DICOM value sets in the package.

there's an old version of the dcm code system in the FHIR base system itself. So tx.fhir.org has the code system from the base FHIR spec, and also all the value sets in the fhir.tx.support package
