Can someone share the rationale leading to the use of a "parent" and "ancestor" filter (together with = operator) at http://build.fhir.org/loinc.html#4.3.3.9.3 instead of using the standard hierarchical operators like child-of and is-a?

parent is the CodeSystem-wide property for this; I think it makes sense to "map" a native property over to a common name in an interoperability context like this. (Although it probably also makes sense to retain the native names.)
