Topic: URI for ISBT?

I'm back! :) I am now looking for a URI for ISBT 128 codes. Here is what ISBT 128 codes are for:
ISBT 128 is a global standard for the identification, labeling, and information transfer of medical products of human origin (including blood, cells, tissues, milk, and organ products) across international borders and disparate health care systems.

I am fairly confident that there isn't a URI already defined for this. So what is the right way to reference ISBT product codes? Do I create my own code system and give it a URI? I looked at the HTA confluence and don't see a process for someone to request a new code system be considered for inclusion.

HTA process appears to be to create a Jira task, based on previous discussion here

This is in process at HTA but you can follow the plan here and you can jump into the request queue by sending your request with documentation to the HTA listserve If that does not work (not a member might be an issue) then send the email to @Julie James and @Carol Macumber

Thxs @Robert McClure That was exactly what I was looking for, but didn't think to look in "Work in Progress" :). I'll follow the process as I've learned much more about ISBT since I asked the question yesterday.

We (the HTA) are still waiting for HL7 to release our JIRA project. Hopefully soon - the delay is a bit frustrating. I know the folk at ISBT well so I will take this one personally. But it would be helpful if you could formally put this request into the FHIR Tracker, @Jean Duteau , since we don't yet have JIRA. Also, @Jean Duteau since so many of the code systems that you are asking about fall in my domain of expertise, it would be really helpful if you could contact me directly - Thanks!
