what about members from terminology authoring organizations outside HL7?

view this post on Zulip David Pyke (Sep 10 2021 at 14:10):

They have to be HL7 members to be a part of the management group

view this post on Zulip John Moehrke (Sep 10 2021 at 14:11):

understood... but there didn't seem to be a role listed for external terminology creators

view this post on Zulip David Pyke (Sep 10 2021 at 14:11):

That was included as "Terminology Vendor" but that's a good clarification

view this post on Zulip John Moehrke (Sep 10 2021 at 14:11):

what about external SDO that use HL7 terminology services?

view this post on Zulip John Moehrke (Sep 10 2021 at 14:12):

terminology vendor? wow, leave it to terminology people to bend words in odd ways

view this post on Zulip David Pyke (Sep 10 2021 at 14:13):

If a person has significant knowledge of terminology and/or terminology operations, then they're welcome as long as they're an HL7 member

view this post on Zulip John Moehrke (Sep 10 2021 at 14:14):

hard to find them

view this post on Zulip David Pyke (Sep 10 2021 at 14:14):

Yep, hence the outreach
