There are a number of value sets that are defined in the NCI Thesaurus and the NCI Meta-Thesaurus. Rather than redefining those, I'm wondering if anyone has figured out how to refer to them in FHIR IGs. They seem to have subset codes so would something like this work:

Value sets from the NCIm don't make much sense to me (A value set of linking objects?) but oh yes, lots of value sets from NCIt - it's all that the FDA uses. I agree we need to work with NCI to clarify how to best identify a FHIR-compliant URL for those value sets. A task for next year?
