Topic: Medication Request dose timing/frequency
Andrew Gledhill (Jul 18 2018 at 11:10):
I have been continuing my analysis of the FHIR Medication.Request message data structure and especially the dose timing/frequency datasets/datacodes and have enhanced a spreadsheet previously posted on the 'implementers' stream. I think the spreadsheet might be a useful HL7 training resource to understand this significant change from HL7v2 to HL7 FHIR timing.repeat message structure (of particular interest to the Pharmacy work group?).

thanks, that's pretty useful. can I post it to my blog so that people can find it?
Andrew Gledhill (Jul 18 2018 at 12:02):
Of course you can Grahame
Grahame Grieve (Jul 18 2018 at 12:04):
thanks. you want credit, yes?
Andrew Gledhill (Jul 18 2018 at 12:07):
Not particularly. My credit will be when all UK primary care prescriptions are created and messaged using the HL7 FHIR medication dose syntax ;-)

@Andrew Gledhill looks like we may be revisiting dose syntax again at NHS Digital. I'll be looking closely at your work here - thanks
