Tried pulling back the detail on the different Observation types since that wasn't the main scope of the diagram and it got too hard to read in my opinion.

I tried drawing out the observation class relations but got carried away thinking about the potential to derive implications from observations other than findings (e.g., TMB or supporting info)

This drawing looks fantastic Jamie! Thank you so much for putting it together..... I assume that we can get rid of the grid behind the image shown in the link (when we are ready to embed the image in our IG web page).. We need to work on the text that should possibly go along with this image. I took the text that Kevin provided and simply put it into some categories/bullets. If we can decide the main points that we want to make about the elements in this drawing, I will try to write them up rough-edit-genomic-info.docx

I would probably suggest everyone do a top -> bottom review , I did move around quite a bit. And finally broke down and wrote some new content.

I just looked at the page which has the updated text based on the JIRA referenced below. First - it doesn't contain the language that was provided. Where did this language come from? Second - it appears after the table of contents which is a lot of text. Why? It should be at the very top. Finally - and most importantly the text should clearly state that you should disregard this information and go to the current IG (with a link). I don't understand how we ended up with this "wimpy" change after so much work to get the change made... Here is the language specified in the JIRA - which is strong and to the point " The material on this page will be removed in a future release. This content is deprecated and SHOULD NOT be used. Implementers are instead directed to the Genomics Reporting Implementation Guide for guidance."

Member's of the WG - PLEASE review this doc and make any comments and suggested edits that you feel should be applied.
