Topic: Issue with FamilyMemberHistory-Genomics profile
Nick George (May 29 2019 at 03:01):
Hello, I wanted to follow up on issues with the FamilyMemeberHistory-genetics tracker item in https://gforge.hl7.org/gf/project/fhir/tracker/?action=TrackerItemEdit&tracker_id=677&tracker_item_id=19239 because it still is an issue in R4 . Has anyone had a chance to take a look at that?
Patrick Werner (May 29 2019 at 12:07):
thanks for pointing out the issue. The profiling spreadsheet contained some unnecessary content which i removed. PR: https://github.com/HL7/fhir/pull/575
Nick George (May 29 2019 at 14:49):
Thanks Patrick. Is it possible to see the json that would be generated by this change?
Patrick Werner (May 29 2019 at 15:10):
sure: https://gist.github.com/patrick-werner/ede77e520352b5609f3b9dc8cd4b8d58

currently waiting for response of other CG commiters/ co-chairs if they agree with pre-applying this before voting on it.
The old version was definitely kind of broken.
Nick George (May 29 2019 at 15:23):
cool, that looks like it fixes my concerns! Thanks a lot Patrick!
Nick George (May 29 2019 at 15:43):
what would "pre-applying" for it do? presumably the fix would require a new version of all of fhir to be published (e.g., 4.0.1)
Grahame Grieve (May 29 2019 at 20:07):
there's a technical correction planned to be published in late august

be able to merge it into the FHIR CI build before the tracker was voted on. So you could start using it earlier.
I think we could vote on this next tuesday call. It's a technical correction, nothing complicated.
