With the following diagram I tried to depict my current understanding of how a Workflow Broker (as in @Lloyd McKenzie 's "Task transmission & Fulfilment request options"-document described - Option G) would act upon a request.
This case presumes that the Broker also includes the FHIR-server that holds the relevant resources.

Did I understand the basics correctly? The numbers describe only the sequence but I can of course provide further details to the steps.

@Emmanuel Helm would you mind including reference to this Lloyd's document? I have not seen it. Thanks

Here it is. Lloyd sent it to the mailing list on June 22.
We discussed it in yesterdays call - I will update the diagram soon and provide diagrams for the other options.

Thanks @Emmanuel Helm ! I have not seen this document. I just recently got interested in the FHIR workflow project but unfortunately tele-conferences fall at 4am my local time (Brisbane, Australia), which is quite difficult to attend in our winter time . Looking forward to your other diagrams.

@Lloyd McKenzie : I updated the diagram according to the suggestions on the call. Where should I put this and the following diagrams?

@Emmanuel Helm A couple of options - you could just email them to me, but even better would be for you to have SVN commit privileges so you can easily edit and maintain them. If you're willing to do the latter, I'll need an email from you agreeing to monitor the committer stream here on Zulip for changes to commit rules (freezes, etc.) as well as conforming that you've read and agree to abide by chapter 16 of the HL7 GOM (http://www.hl7.org/documentcenter/public/membership/HL7_Governance_and_Operations_Manual.pdf). Finally, I'll need your gForge address
