works!
Ron Shapiro (May 07 2016 at 14:00):
which server will we use?
Pascal Pfiffner (May 07 2016 at 14:59):
http://fhir3.healthintersections.com.au/
Angus Millar (May 07 2016 at 15:12):
Guys we have a Patient, Mr Bob Workflow, he is found here: http://fhir3.healthintersections.com.au/open/Patient/468
Angus Millar (May 07 2016 at 15:16):
And if you need a Practitioner then maybe use Penny Puffer found here: http://fhir3.healthintersections.com.au/open/Practitioner/50
Rik Smithies (May 07 2016 at 18:17):
now there is a careplan here http://nprogram.azurewebsites.net/CarePlan/1
and CarePlan/2 is linked to Patient/468 Bob Workflow

Hello workflow-experts,
so we (@Karl Holzer and I) are planning to play around a little with the workflow resources and the Workflow Communication Patterns (https://hl7-fhir.github.io/workflow.html#commpatterns) at the Baltimore Connectathon. We know there is no workflow track, but since we want to try out the ideas discussed in the FHIR-Workflow-Calls we would like to test it.
Our initial question would be if anybody is interested in participating, and if you have a preferred option (Request-Event, or Request-Task)? We gravitate either towards option C or option H. In any case I am planning to play 3rd party intermediary during the connectathon, but am happy to play placer|fullfiller if anyone else wants to implement the intermediary.
Please let us know if you are interested in connectathoning with us.
Best,
Oliver
Oliver Krauss (Dec 06 2016 at 16:12):
And hello again workflow-experts,
new WGM new try, since people have shown interest in the Patterns on Zulip now. In the Monday-Workflow call we discussed the possibility of doing a hackathon-track at one of the upcoming WGM CATs, specifically concerning the Request-Event pattern (http://build.fhir.org/workflow.html) and with that the communication patterns (http://build.fhir.org/workflow.html#commpatterns). What I would like to know from you is, if you are interested in testing those patterns, and which ones you need for your use-cases.
From the talks yesterday I gathered that use cases from the medication or laboratory domain would be prominent. So right now I am thinking about a Pharmacy MedicationRequest Use Case but am open to suggestions or additional requirements/use cases from other domains.
If you have any interest in contributing to a potential track (SanAntonio or any other upcoming WGM) please let us know, even if you can’t commit resources (yet). The first step is just to see if we do have a need for a track. So just drop a reply here, or drop me a mail.
Karl Holzer (Dec 06 2016 at 17:06):
Such a track would definitely be interesting to try out and get familiar with the workflow resources.
Grahame Grieve (Dec 06 2016 at 19:36):
@Claude Nanjo is running connectathon streams around communication processes
Andreas Schuler (Dec 07 2016 at 16:22):
I totally share @Oliver Krauss point of view and think it's a good idea to set-up a hackacthon track for testing worflow related resources.
Reinhard Egelkraut (Dec 07 2016 at 17:26):
@Oliver Krauss I agree, it would be very useful to test the different workflow scenarios and the according resources at the upcoming fhir connectathons
Paul Knapp (Dec 08 2016 at 09:59):
@Grahame Grieve: in which track(s) is that occuring?
Grahame Grieve (Dec 08 2016 at 11:43):
not a track. I thought it was last connectathon.. Obviously not
Paul Knapp (Dec 08 2016 at 11:45):
I think they tried last connectathon but there wasn't the interest/participation. I don't see anything scheduled for San Antonio.
Grahame Grieve (Dec 08 2016 at 11:45):
no
Lloyd McKenzie (Dec 08 2016 at 15:58):
This thread is an attempt to drum up interest in having a track this time.
Oliver Krauss (Dec 09 2016 at 09:10):
Hi. exactly that. An attempt to drum up interest and a question to identify need. We need/already use the workflow patterns for our work and wanted to see if anyone else is using them and willing to test on any upcoming Connecthaton.
@Paul Knapp we were 2 people/organizations at the last connecthaton. Back then the Attachments track used some of the ressources and we ended up joining them.
Paul Knapp (Dec 09 2016 at 19:37):
@Oliver Krauss Good! Will you be joining the Attachments track again at the SAn Antonio Connectathon?
Oliver Krauss (Jan 11 2017 at 15:02):
@Paul Knapp Yes. Looking through the track proposals this is a good fit just as it was in Baltimore. See you Saturday
