Topic: 2016 Weekly Calls
Dave Shaver (May 23 2016 at 14:46):
23/May/2016 - Reminder that we have FGB call today at 4pm ET/US. No agenda yet posted to wiki. I can chair the call.
Dave Shaver (May 23 2016 at 17:24):
23/May/2016 - Agenda is posted for today's call (Thanks Anne!) http://wiki.hl7.org/index.php?title=20150523_FGB_concall
Dave Shaver (May 28 2016 at 14:30):
30/May/2016 - I'm in the middle of a house move so unable to attend/chair the May 30th call. Is there someone else who can chair?
Lorraine Constable (Jun 02 2016 at 17:59):
I am away all next week
Lorraine Constable (Jun 02 2016 at 18:05):
I am away next week and will not make most HL7 calls
Lorraine Constable (Jun 13 2016 at 15:50):
Grr... I just had a day job call clobber the FGB timeslot for today. I will try to make it if my call ends early
Dave Shaver (Jun 13 2016 at 18:59):
13/June/2016 - Call today in about an hour. Lorraine provided regrets earlier today. http://wiki.hl7.org/index.php?title=20160613_FGB_concall
Dave Shaver (Jun 13 2016 at 20:02):
13/June/2016 - Unclear if @Anne Wizauer will be joining; no joy so far. I'm on the goto meeting webinar and the goto meeting audio call. No joy yet.
Dave Shaver (Jun 13 2016 at 20:03):
13/June/2016 And nobody on the old HL7.org conference call number, either. I shall wait.
Grahame Grieve (Jun 13 2016 at 20:06):
I've just joined... nobody here....
Dave Shaver (Jun 13 2016 at 20:08):
13/June/2016 - I think we are screwed on the meeting without @Anne Wizauer starting the webinar. That or we drop back to the hold hl7.org dial-in number and hold the call w/o web session (which we likely don't need anyway)
Lloyd McKenzie (Jun 13 2016 at 20:08):
I can start the webinar
Grahame Grieve (Jun 13 2016 at 20:08):
dial-in then. Lloyd and I are here
Lloyd McKenzie (Jun 13 2016 at 20:08):
We don't use the GMT audio - or at least haven't been.
Dave Shaver (Jun 13 2016 at 20:08):
Standby
Dave Shaver (Jun 13 2016 at 20:09):
NEW PLAN -- all join the HL7.org call -- 770-657-9270 using code 985371#
Grahame Grieve (Jun 13 2016 at 20:24):
discussion topic for next week I thought of too late for this call: from a technical view point, we are now able to publish Implementation guides separately from the FHIR specification
Grahame Grieve (Jun 13 2016 at 20:25):
we have agree that some of the existing IGs are 'core' - and will remain part of the standard - locked into being edited as part of the spec. but most of the rest will be disconnected from the specification, and have their own life cycle.
Grahame Grieve (Jun 13 2016 at 20:26):
there's 2 questions that arise, then:
- which ones remain core, and which ones are ejected
- for the ones that are ejected, at least some still need to be published under hl7.org/fhir. And there's going to be real benefits for that
Grahame Grieve (Jun 13 2016 at 20:26):
do we think that there's governance aspects to the first question?
Grahame Grieve (Jun 13 2016 at 20:26):
and I think we need to discuss the governance aspects of the second on next week's phone call
Dave Shaver (Jul 18 2016 at 19:34):
18/Jul/2016 - No agenda yet posted; are we having a call today?
Anne Wizauer (Jul 18 2016 at 19:39):
I did post an agenda but it's not showing up...let me check
Also, Lloyd would like to cancel today to run FHIR-I for two hours and wants to know if there's anything pressing
Dave Shaver (Jul 18 2016 at 19:40):
I do not have any pressing issues so I'm OK with canceling today (18/JUL/2016)
Anne Wizauer (Jul 18 2016 at 19:44):
I fixed it...I had a wrong number in the link. Anyway, it was just a carryover from the last call we cancelled and it sounds as though we are cancelling today as well.
Dave Shaver (Jul 18 2016 at 19:47):
I hear no screaming -- 18/JUL/2016 hereby CANCELED.
Lorraine Constable (Jul 18 2016 at 19:49):
We may want to soft cancel until after ballot goes out - difficult to think of governance issues when large parts of the team are flat out getting content out.
Lorraine Constable (Jul 25 2016 at 17:51):
are we planning to meet today, or is everyone still buried after yesterday's freeze?
Dave Shaver (Jul 25 2016 at 18:33):
2016-JUL-25 - agenda posted for today -- per @Lorraine Constable I'm also willing to cancel today if nothing urgent or folks buried -- http://wiki.hl7.org/index.php?title=20160725_FGB_concall
Anne Wizauer (Jul 25 2016 at 18:42):
Calvin just emailed that he's unable to attend today.
Lloyd McKenzie (Jul 25 2016 at 19:14):
We probably don't need to run FHIR-I for 2 hours today, so we *could* meet. I don't have anything urgent.
Wayne Kubick (Jul 25 2016 at 19:16):
I'm available, but I don't see anything urgent on the agenda, and I suspect Grahame can use a break. So cancelling is fine with me as well.
Lorraine Constable (Jul 25 2016 at 19:26):
lets cancel - I am buried in day job issues, and I suspect a break for Grahame is the best course
Dave Shaver (Jul 25 2016 at 19:27):
Let's make it official -- 25/JUL/2016 FGB call is CANCELED.
Lorraine Constable (Jul 25 2016 at 19:39):
I am heading out for vacation starting Jul 29. talk to you mid-August
Dave Shaver (Aug 01 2016 at 18:33):
1-August-2016 -- Regarding today's call. Lorraine is out. We don't have a scribe we can fake that as needed. No major items on agenda. Thoughts? http://wiki.hl7.org/index.php?title=20160801_FGB_concall
Dave Shaver (Aug 01 2016 at 19:06):
1/AUG/2016 - Wayne and Lloyd are OK with canceling today's call.
Dave Shaver (Aug 01 2016 at 19:20):
1/AUG/2016 - Proposing that we cancel for today. Agenda for next week to include discussion -- policy around how we allow the github projects to be set up - who controls committer access, etc.
Dave Shaver (Aug 01 2016 at 19:22):
1/AUG/2016 - Officially canceling call for August 1, 2016. Added git hub topic to next week's call -- http://wiki.hl7.org/index.php?title=20160808_FGB_concall#Agenda
Dave Shaver (Aug 08 2016 at 15:58):
08/AUG/2016 - The FHIR Governance Board (FGB) has a call schedule for today (8/8/2016) at 4pm ET/US. As discussed via chat.fhir.org last week, we have one main topic to discuss:
• Policy on hosting implementation guides on github
• Policy around how we allow the github projects to be set up
• Who controls committer access, etc.
We proposed that “someone in the know” would write up a few paragraphs to help guide discussion. Anyone open to doing so in the next few hours?

Lloyd McKenzie (Aug 15 2016 at 19:46):

Ewout Kramer (Aug 22 2016 at 20:06):
I am the only one on the call?
Grahame Grieve (Aug 22 2016 at 20:07):
we're using the gotomeeting audio
Dave Shaver (Aug 29 2016 at 12:46):
2016-08-29 We have a FGB call today at 4pm ET/US. I have posted proposed agenda -- http://wiki.hl7.org/index.php?title=20160829_FGB_concall
Lorraine Constable (Sep 09 2016 at 23:30):
I have a client meeting conflicting with Monday's call, if we are meeting. Dave, can you chair?
Dave Shaver (Oct 03 2016 at 18:25):
2016-Oct-03 We have a call scheduled at 4pm ET today -- agenda: http://wiki.hl7.org/index.php?title=20161003_FGB_concall
Wayne Kubick (Oct 03 2016 at 19:11):
I will miss today's call -- have to attend Argonaut call instead.
Grahame Grieve (Oct 03 2016 at 19:50):
I guess I'll be doing the same
Dave Shaver (Oct 10 2016 at 19:49):
2016-10-10 -- we have a call scheduled in about 15 mins -- http://wiki.hl7.org/index.php?title=20161010_FGB_concall
Dave Shaver (Oct 10 2016 at 20:11):
2016-10-10 call canceled; L and L out due to Thanksgiving; G was on plane; no urgent agenda items. Talk to you next week!
Lorraine Constable (Oct 13 2016 at 20:13):
All, I have a new client and the biweekly status meetings overlap with the first half hour of our call. In the second half hour of next week can we discuss whether to leave the call time as is, and I will be late every other week, or to adjust the call time? Thanks
Lorraine Constable (Oct 17 2016 at 18:56):
Seems Dave is also away, and Wayne will be in the air, so we are canceling for today
Lloyd McKenzie (Oct 24 2016 at 18:46):
How badly do we need FGB today? (FHIR-I would gladly use the additional hour to work on ballot reconciliation)
Anne Wizauer (Oct 24 2016 at 19:21):
I've got regrets from Calvin
Anne Wizauer (Oct 24 2016 at 20:03):
Decision made to cancel by Dave
Dave Shaver (Oct 24 2016 at 20:03):
Regarding today's (2016-10-24) call: Anne and I are on the call solo so far; sorry I did not see earlier note re: cancellation. Lorraine is out first half of meeting; I propose we CANCEL FOR TODAY.
Lloyd McKenzie (Oct 31 2016 at 19:02):
Grahame indicated to me that he *won't* be on today's call.
