From TSC this week, I'm wondering if there's some disconnect between how we communicate with IG authors (re: deadlines, progress to ballot, etc) and what they are seeing/hearing/understanding. Can we review the process for determining which authors are notified (and when) in the run-up to balloting?

Calendar pages in confluence like https://confluence.hl7.org/display/HL7/HL7+FHIR-specific+dates and https://confluence.hl7.org/display/HL7/Ballot+Content don't quite "hook into" the process documentation; maybe we could add links from the calendar to this content?

Responsible individuals (e.g., IG authors / editors) who may need to get notifications can change over time -- where/how do IGs update this information, and how does it influence downstream notifications?
