we need to decide how to go about it:

post a new version and keep the old one up
post a new version, and leave the old one posted as a zip
just overwrite the old version

my preferences:

R2 - last option: overwrite - there's only one visible change, around licensing
R3 - option #2 (what we did last time)
R4 - option #2 too

I just found a potential problem for technical correction. Many (but not all) of the internal links on the datatypes page are broken. See GF#23032

Thanks for sharing these details here ahead of time! Your preferences make sense to me @Grahame Grieve . I guess I'd like to know a little more about the the r2 recommendations -- like, could we make an archive of the overwritten site for historical purposes even if we don't assign a new version number? And is there any convenient way to show (like with a diff) that no other changes have been introduced?
