I can't find minutes showing approval of one of the DaVinci IG proposals that we thought we'd done. I've left it marked as unapproved. We'll need to look at it on next week's call and decide whether to let it through too. (It was actually submitted at the same time as the other Davinci one on July 11)

@Anne Wizauer, can you add this to our agenda for next Wednesday's call?

The author of an IG (BSeR - Bidirectional Services eReferral) has just informed me that he's going to start working on his IG for ballot, and he's starting it today, and he's going to use Simplifier. I believe that we said that we wouldn't be balloting Simplifier produced IGs until they met our basic requirements for publishing (which are now documented on the wiki, here: http://wiki.hl7.org/index.php?title=FHIR_Implementation_Guide_Publishing_Requirements

can any confirm this? even better, a minutes link?

@Anne Wizauer @Lloyd McKenzie @David Hay this is an urgent request (well, compared to normal turn around, at least - I think we need to sort this today...)

view this post on Zulip David Hay (Aug 14 2018 at 19:27):

we only approved the proposal last week - IIRC?

view this post on Zulip David Hay (Aug 14 2018 at 19:29):

But - given that we have documented requirements, and that simplifier can't (currently) meet them - is that not enough to say no? What would our response be if they switched to the official tooling? The numbers are already high...

They could propose their work item to IHE... it is the beginning of a new cycle, new work item proposals are now open -- https://www.ihe.net/about_ihe/ihe_process/

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (Aug 14 2018 at 19:55):

they could...

view this post on Zulip Lloyd McKenzie (Aug 14 2018 at 20:07):

Can they delay the opening of their ballot and migrate to using the IGPublisher?

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (Aug 14 2018 at 20:12):

well, it's really a question of resourcing the preparation of the IG

Here we say that we're not accepting any more submissions from Simplifier

I don't know if that's relevant, but could potentially be confusing?

@Lloyd McKenzie Which Da Vinci IG proposal is it that we didn't approve?
