On the Imaging call today, there was discussion about licensing of the FHIRcast. The group is aware that FHIR is CC0 licensed with a copyright of HL7. They wanted to assure that FHIRcast was similarly licensed. Is CC0 default for HL7 published IG (seems the IG publication tooling sets the footer to CC0)? Do workgroups have any choice? There was an observation that some HL7 IG seem to have Apache license indication...

workgroups have input but I very much doubt that is an an informed discussion. Apache is suitable for code, not specifications. WGs can take it up with me as Product director, or the EC. It's not a TSC issue
