Topic: Getting new users up to speed on Jira

https://chat.fhir.org/#narrow/stream/179229-subscriptions/topic/How.20to.20interpret.20multiple.20criteria.20in.20a.20backported.20subscr.2E.2E.2E/near/222743064 has an example conversation -- we say "file a tracker" and a new community member says "wait what?"
Josh Mandel (Jan 14 2021 at 17:54):
Do we have onboarding / guidance to point to?
Josh Mandel (Jan 14 2021 at 17:55):
Clicking "propose a change" in the spec takes you straight into a complicated Jira where you can't submit an issue until you sign up and wait 2 days; this process isn't quite intuitive, so probably most people get stuck here.

We could change the permalink to redirect here: https://confluence.hl7.org/display/HL7/Specification+Feedback
Would that be better?
Josh Mandel (Jan 14 2021 at 20:44):
It'd be clearly better for newbies. Maybe just a link there from the current fhir-issues page would help, but I see that's just a Jira screen...
Josh Mandel (Jan 14 2021 at 20:46):
(I thought https://confluence.hl7.org/display/HL7/Specification+Feedback or something similar existed, but I failed to find it in Confluence search, looking for things like "how to submit fhir issue" or "fhir propose change")
Lloyd McKenzie (Jan 15 2021 at 01:47):
I have no clue how to do search-engine optimization in Confluence. Insights welcome from anyone who has them...
